Year of manufacture 1965 Car type Other Lot number 33 Reference number osen_18 Condition Used Interior colour Other Location France Exterior colour Other 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 WITHOUT RESERVATION Chassis 7815 GT French registration - 13,000 euros of recent invoices - Mythical model - Delivered new in Italy Introduced in 1964, the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 took up the torch from the 250 GTE, embodying Maranello's vision of Grand Tourism: a powerful V12, enhanced comfort and Pininfarina's understated elegance. Its deliberately measured design, almost austere for a Ferrari, meets the expectations of a refined clientele more sensitive to distinction than flamboyance. The two rear seats blend harmoniously into the flowing lines, without detracting from the fastback profile. The 4-liter V12, derived from the prestigious 400 Superamerica and 330 TRI LM that won at Le Mans, delivers 300 horsepower with great flexibility. Updated with an alternator, dual braking circuits and telescopic shock absorbers, the 330 GT 2+2's homogeneity is seductive. José Rosinski even described it as "the best Grand Touring car we've ever driven", underlining a rare balance between performance, comfort and ease of use. The example shown, chassis 7815, was delivered new in Italy in November 1965. The 330 Register indicates that it left Europe in the early 1970s for the USA, where it remained for almost half a century before returning to the European continent in 2018. Its original configuration combined an elegant Azzurro hue with a beige leather interior. In the mid-1990s, while still in the United States, the model adopted its current red color, while Borrani spoke wheels were installed at the same time, reinforcing its classic allure. In 2022 and 2023, a major mechanical overhaul will be carried out by specialist LDO Racing at a cost of over 13,000 euros. Long kept across the Atlantic, this 330 GT 2+2 offers an attractive base for the classic Ferrari enthusiast. ERRATUM: the technical inspection revealed problems of perforating corrosion in the underpinnings, as well as various other defects. Inspection report available on request. New estimate: €100,000 / €150,000

Beneath its smooth lines, the two rear seats fit naturally without affecting the fastback profile.
